Located on the left bank of the Loire river, below the vineyards of Sancerre, Menetou Salon is the smallest appellation and therefore, less known. However, it produces great wines that are rounder and richer in flavour than its neighbours Sancerre and Pouilly Fumé. The J.de Villebois Menetou -Salon is again based on a careful selection of the vineyard blocs making it a true to type wine that you will enjoy drinking. The Menetou-Salon has an intense nose of exotic fruit flavours, peach and wild flowers with a soft yet refreshing palate. Enjoy the feeling of eating a ripe sauvignon berry while tasting this wine.
